Inspired by Lawrence O'Donnell's "Rewrite" & Ed Schultz's "Takedown" segments, this is my attempt to right the wrongs of the Right Wing & try to decipher the morse code-like language which the Right Wing so eloquently speaks in a manner which the rest of us on Main Street can understand

Hey Pat, I'm watching your diatribe right now and wanna clarify a few points for you...
ReplyDeleteFirst off, Mexico is not the only country of origin for undocumented immigrants.
Secondly, a visa has never and will never constitute permanent citizenship; and there is no such thing as temporary citizenship.
What you are talking about is actually permanent resident status, something which for many people is very difficult to achieve.
Honestly Pat, I think your vitriolic bullshit could probably be marketed -- in the history of Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, and your namesake Pat Robertson -- I think you can cash in on this shit...
Your opinion Josh.
ReplyDeleteIf there's one other thing you're fighting for is one's right to Free Speech.
First off, I know Mexico isn't the only country of origin for undocumented immigrants. But in case you haven't noticed, it is the Mexicans who are making the most noise of 'em all.
Since WHEN is a VISA _NOT_ a form of permanent citizenship?
How difficult can permenant resident status really be?
If this "vitrolic bullshit" sounds like Bill O'Reilly or Ann Coulter to you, then oh well. There's nothing I can do to change that. But honestly, it isn't meant to sound Right Wing at all.
If you can't see that, then that's your problem.
Yes Pat, I do disagree with you, but I'll defend at all costs your right to say what you've said and anything else you'd like to comment on. This is true.
ReplyDeleteYes, Mexico is central to the issue of the debate at hand; that's true.
There are many kinds of Visas: work visas, vacation visas, education visas - most of these are not permanent and none of these are a form of citizenship.
Citizenship is permanent and is not a visa at all; in order to obtain citizenship in the US one must take a test, go through a plethora of forms and then swear their allegience to the United States.
Both Visas and permenent residency status are acquire through a somewhat different process.
